Boze’s Instructors are Certified
in Resistance Training
Boze’s instructors are fully accredited to assist members
with their weight and resistance training needs. The accreditation,
provided by the Manitoba Fitness Council, included study in anatomy,
biomechanics, physiology, exercise-design and exercise safety
analysis. Boze’s instructors are routinely available in
the weight room to help with your training needs. They are more
than willing to help you design a resistance-training program
that will help you meet your fitness and wellness goals.

in the weight room, our certified leaders can serve all your
needs.
David Bosiak
David
is “Boze”, and spends as much time as he can hanging
around the Bodyshop. David has undergraduate degrees in Physical
Education and Recreation Studies and a Masters degree in Business
Administration, which he puts to good use as Regional Manager
of Culture, Heritage and Tourism. David has been involved in “the
fitness business” since 1985, and is a recipient of the
Manitoba Fitness Council Volunteer of the Year Award. David designs
all the resistance training programs for Boze’s and has
a passion for sports, the Miami Dolphins and slurpees. He loves
spending time with his wife Maggie and their son, Brant.
Maggie Campbell
Maggie has worked in the wellness field since 1979. She enjoys
helping people reach their health and fitness goals. She has
taught aerobics and strength training classes for 25 years, and
has been instrumental in designing most of Boze’s group
exercise classes. Maggie studied physical education at University
and has done a great deal of work in the adult education and
training field. She has been recognized for numerous fitness
awards, including Manitoba Fitness Council Fitness Leader of
the Year. Besides being a “choc-o-holic” she loves
to cook “weird” food, listen to the ocean, and MOST
of all, play with her boys.
Patti Beaudin
Patti
has been a certified fitness leader since 1986. She leads all types of fitness classes at Boze’s and also provides weight-training orientations. Delivering Instructor training workshops at Boze’s, in Brandon and Winnipeg have provided her the opportunity to work with fitness leaders from all over the province. Patti is a teacher at École Macneill and loves working with children. She enjoys early morning workouts, walking her dog Ti-Beau and spending time with her friends. Patti and her husband Howard are thrilled to be parents, as they spend as much time as they can with their daughter Bianca and son Gabriel.
Wendy De la Mare
Wendy started working the front desk at Boze’s in 1988
and became certified by the Manitoba Fitness Council shortly
thereafter. She has enjoyed seeing the fitness industry evolve
and being involved as an instructor. Wendy and her husband Lance
have three precious children: Blaire, Taylor and Cole. In her spare time Wendy enjoys walking,
training for marathons, reading, scrapbooking and knitting. Wendy
has had many positive experiences at Boze’s, and is motivated
and dedicated to helping members achieve their fitness goals.
Christine Tardiff-Letain
Christine has been instructing at Boze’s and the Parkland
Recreation Complex since 1997. Her passion continues to be leading
land-based classes. She enjoys high intensity classes the most,
but also has a fondness for Yoga, where it can be “as intense
as you want it to be”. Christine also loves to help people
reach their own personal fitness goals, particularly in the weight
room on a one-on-one basis. In her downtime Christine enjoys
reading, music and simply staying active with her two busy, beautiful
boys, Miguel and Rheal. She also loves the “quiet life”,
living on the acreage.
Jamie Damsgaard
Jamie started at Boze’s working part-time at the front desk. From her start at Boze’s she had an interest in becoming more fit, and absorbed volumes of training articles and workbooks. Through her interest in wanting to know more about fitness and in improving her own level of fitness Jamie started participating in Yoga classes. Her interest in Yoga resulted in Jamie completing the Manitoba Fitness Council certification program and becoming a certified instructor. She teaches all styles of classes, but has a preference for up-tempo workouts. Jamie runs ½ marathons and maintains her fitness through early morning workouts and teaching classes. Jamie works “next-door” to Boze’s and enjoys country living with her husband Dwayne and daughter Addison.
